Population
  The 71 rows with role_family = management and in_page_stats = true among
  the 725 postings from 121 employers counted on the salary, job titles,
  locations and travel pages (rows with in_page_stats = true in
  fde-postings-2026-10-24.csv in this folder). 26 employers post at least
  one. Pulled from public Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday boards on
  October 24, 2026. Recruiting agencies and duplicates removed.

Method
  Built by scripts/build-management-aggregate.py from
  fde-postings-2026-10-24.json and fde-locations-2026-10-24.json
  (locations rows matched on company and posting URL).
  Title type: title text, first match in order: "program manager" ->
  Technical program manager; engagement manager, delivery partner
  manager, solutions manager or delivery & operations -> Engagement,
  delivery or solutions manager; head of, VP or director -> Director,
  head or VP; every other management title -> Manager, senior manager or
  engineering manager. Buckets sum to 71.
  Title wording: first match in order: "Forward Deployed Engineering",
  "FDE", "Forward Deployed Engineer" (incl. Forward Deployed AI Engineer),
  other. Buckets sum to 71.
  US vs outside the US and remote-listed: the published locations-index
  definitions (US-located = every listed location in the US; remote-listed
  = any listed location contains Remote).
  Workplace: workplace_type as captured; blank means empty. Buckets sum
  to 71.
  Travel: upper bound = largest number in the stated percentage string,
  the rule used by fde-travel-2026-10-24.json. 7 of the 22 stated rows are
  Accenture "0 to 100%" boilerplate; the median is reported with and
  without them (50% both ways).
  US pay: us_location true, USD range posted, first range on the row.
  Rows with a range but a non-US or mixed location are kept in
  non_us_or_mixed_rows_with_pay and left out of the US figures. Posted
  ranges are not offers and exclude equity value.

Caveats
  Counts are open postings on public boards on one day and do not measure
  headcount. Matching is by title only.
  These listings were live on the October 24, 2026 snapshot; this file has
  no posting-date range.
