Population
  The 11 Scale AI rows with in_page_stats = true among the 725 postings
  from 121 employers counted on the salary, job titles, locations and
  travel pages (rows with in_page_stats = true in
  fde-postings-2026-10-24.csv in this folder). All 11 come from Scale
  AI's public Greenhouse board, pulled October 24, 2026. 9 are
  engineer-family titles and 2 are Deployment Strategist titles. Scale
  AI ties Cloudflare and Cohere at 11 postings (ninth by posting count).
  This is a small sample.

Method
  Built by scripts/build-scaleai-aggregate.py from
  fde-postings-2026-10-24.json, fde-locations-2026-10-24.json (rows
  matched on posting URL) and fde-skills-2026-10-25.csv (the requirements
  index; posting text re-fetched October 25, 2026; the 9 engineer-title
  Scale AI postings are in it; the 2 Deployment Strategist texts were
  empty on re-fetch and are absent from the index).
  Track: title text. Frontier Agents Engineer (Forward Deployed
  Engineering) at three levels; Full-Stack Software Engineer (Forward
  Deployed), GPS (5 postings in London, Riyadh, Doha); Forward Deployed
  Software Engineer, Public Sector; Deployment Strategist (DHS/DOJ and
  Space Systems Command). Buckets sum to 11 (3 / 5 / 1 / 2).
  GPS: expands to Global Public Sector in the Scale AI posting texts
  (some Staff GPS openings say International Public Sector in the body).
  US vs outside the US and remote-listed: the published locations-index
  definitions (US-located = every listed location in the US;
  remote-listed = board marks remote or a listed location contains
  Remote). Buckets sum to 11 (6 US / 5 outside). None list remote. All
  11 leave the workplace field blank.
  Requirements: only python, llm_genai, cloud, containers, ts_js,
  cs_degree, agents, startup and rag are published as Scale AI
  comparisons. The customer_facing, apis, evals and data_pipelines
  keyword flags undercount relative to the posting texts, so those flags
  are recorded under unreliable_keyword_flags and are not used as
  published comparisons. Scale AI has 9 rows in the index (under the 10+
  employer rank cut). A mention is not a hard requirement.
  Travel: upper bound = largest number in the stated percentage string,
  the rule used by fde-travel-2026-10-24.json. 3 of 11 state a figure:
  both strategist seats say 20-30% (upper 30); Public Sector says 50%.
  Median stated upper bound among those 3 is 30, against 30 across all
  employers.
  US pay: us_location true, USD range posted, first range in the posting
  text. 6 of 11 list USD pay (all US seats). Engineer median midpoint
  uses the 4 US engineer-title ranges only ($240,640). Strategist ranges
  are listed separately. Posted ranges are not offers and exclude equity
  value.

Caveats
  Counts are open postings on a public board on one day and do not
  measure headcount. Matching is by title only. Eleven postings is a
  small sample; do not over-read employer-level rates.
  These listings were live on the October 24, 2026 snapshot; this file has
  no posting-date range.
